The Cannon immersion focuses on the engineering design and history of indirect firing.

Using some of the projectile launcher tools and concepts, student work together to construct a cannon, focusing on indirect firing and the history of artillery during the period of the American Civil War.

Please note that currently the Cannon immersion is only available for 5th grade.


Key topics: accuracy, precision, data collection, potential and kinetic energy, and engineering design.
